What is this?

This is the TikTok view of Channels — open it from the TikTok card, or go to /channels?channel=tiktok. It connects a TikTok account so direct messages arrive in your shared inbox and you can publish posts, schedule content, and view TikTok insights from the platform.
Your platform administrator must have set up TikTok OAuth first, and your plan must include TikTok. You need the Channels permission to connect an account.

What can I do here?

  • Connect a TikTok account (and add more)
  • See the account’s profile and status
  • Reconnect after a token expiry
  • Publish posts and schedule content — see TikTok Publishing
  • Disconnect the account without losing your chats

How to use it

Connect a TikTok account

  1. Open Channels → TikTok and click Add new TikTok account.
  2. Log in with TikTok and approve access.
  3. The account appears as a card when connected.

What the card shows

The account’s username, profile picture, follower count and connection status. Use TikTok features — posting, scheduling and analytics — from the TikTok section of the sidebar.

Disconnect the account

Click Disconnect on the account’s card and confirm. When you disconnect:
  • TikTok is removed from this channel
  • Publishing stops — you can no longer post or schedule to this TikTok account from here
  • Scheduled posts will fail — any posts you have queued for the future won’t go out
  • Your chats and contacts stay — existing inbox conversations are kept
Reconnecting the same account brings publishing back. To remove the whole channel and everything in it, use Delete Channel (Channels).
Scheduled posts fail the moment you disconnect. Before disconnecting, cancel or reschedule any posts you want to keep.

Troubleshooting / Technical Notes

  • Disconnect is greyed out. You lack the delete permission — ask an admin.
  • Messages don’t arrive. Reconnect the account to refresh the access token.
  • Publishing isn’t available. The account may not have granted publishing permission — reconnect and re-approve.
  • Add new TikTok account is disabled. Channel limit reached or TikTok isn’t in your plan.
