What is this?

This section requires an active channel with a connected Facebook Page. Every page in it shows a “No Facebook Page Connected” message, with a prompt to connect one in Settings, until a Page is linked — and a plan-upgrade message if your plan doesn’t include Facebook integration. Your platform administrator must have set up Facebook OAuth first.

What can I do here?

Use Facebook for three main jobs:
  • review Page and post performance in Insights
  • configure the connected Page’s Messenger experience — persistent menu, welcome screen, commands, and conversation sync — in Interaction
  • compose, publish, schedule, and draft posts to the connected Page in Publishing

How to use it

  1. Connect a Facebook Page. Before any of these pages show data, connect a Page to your active channel — see Channels.
  2. Start with performance visibility. Use Insights to see how the Page and its recent posts are performing before you make operational changes.
  3. Configure Messenger interaction. Interaction is where you set up the persistent menu, the Get Started welcome screen, Messenger slash commands, and sync of existing conversations into the platform.
  4. Publish deliberately. Publishing should support a planned content workflow — compose, save as a draft if it’s not ready, and publish or schedule when it is.

Troubleshooting / Technical Notes

  • Reconnect the Page if a permission banner appears. Insights and Publishing show banners when the read_insights, pages_read_engagement, or pages_manage_posts permissions are missing. Reconnect the Page in Settings.
  • Review Interaction settings after reconnecting. The persistent menu and commands live on the Facebook side, so check them again after reconnecting the Page.
  • Keep work tied to the correct Page. Facebook tools operate on the active channel.
  • Access is permission-based. Viewing and editing use the facebook:view, facebook:edit, and facebook:delete permissions.
