What is this?
Google Calendar lets you see and manage the events on your Google calendars from inside the platform. It’s the Calendars tab of the Google panel under Channels → Google.Connect your Google account first — see Google. The Google integration needs a plan that includes Google, and your platform administrator must have set up Google OAuth first. Permissions control what you can do:
google:view to see it, google:create to connect an account, google:edit to change sync settings, and google:delete to remove sheets or disconnect. What can I do here?
- See all your calendars, with your main one marked Primary
- Expand a calendar to view its events, including All Day and Recurring ones
- Create a New Event with attendees, a location, a repeat pattern, and a color
- Edit or Delete an event
- Open in Google Calendar to view an event in Google
How to use it
Create and manage events
- Your calendars are listed, with your main one marked Primary. Expand a calendar to see its events. Events show badges such as All Day and Recurring.
- Click New Event and fill in the event:
- Title (required) and an optional Description
- All-day event — turn it on for events that last the whole day; otherwise set the date and time
- Location — for example a room, a Zoom link, or an address
- Attendees — comma-separated email addresses
- Repeat — Does not repeat, Daily, Weekly, Every 2 weeks, Monthly, or Yearly
- Color — Default, Lavender, Sage, Grape, Flamingo, Banana, Tangerine, Peacock, Graphite, Blueberry, Basil, or Tomato
- Use Edit to change an event, Delete to remove it, or Open in Google Calendar to view it in Google.
Use calendars in automations
The Google Calendar step in the Automation builder can create events or retrieve appointments.Troubleshooting / Technical Notes
- “No calendars found.” Connect your Google account first, or check that the account has a calendar.
- “No events found.” The calendar has no events to show.
- Event creation failed. Make sure the Title is filled in, attendee emails are separated by commas, and your Google connection is still active — use Reconnect Google Account on the Google page if not.
- I deleted an event by mistake. Deleting removes it from your Google Calendar itself, so restore it from Google Calendar’s own trash if you need it back.
- You can’t create or edit events. You need
google:edit.
