What is this?
Settings (shown as Catalog Settings) is where you decide how your storefront looks and how customers buy from it — business details, tax, delivery, checkout and payment methods, the messages customers receive, and the content of your store pages. It has nine tabs.
[SCREENSHOT: catalog-settings-overview — The Catalog Settings page showing the nine tabs: General, Tax, Shipping, Abandoned Cart, Storefront, WhatsApp Payment, Messages, Integrations, and Pages]
Open Settings from a catalog’s row on the Storefront overview. Each tab saves on its own, and some settings — such as Domain Setup — have their own save button.
What can I do here?
- Add your business details shown to customers
- Choose how tax is calculated
- Choose how delivery is charged
- Recover abandoned carts with reminders and an optional discount
- Set your store logo, colors, domain, and payment gateways
- Choose how customers pay through WhatsApp
- Edit the order messages customers receive
- Send order events to your own systems with webhooks
- Edit your store’s About, Contact, Privacy, Terms, and Refund pages

Enter your Business Name, Email, Phone, and GST/Tax ID, plus your business Address — Street, City, State, Country, and Pincode. These details are shown to customers on the storefront.
Choose how tax is added to orders:
- No Tax (0%) — no tax is applied.
- Flat Tax (same % for all products) — applies one fixed percentage to all orders. Enter the Tax Rate (%).

- Turn on Enable Abandoned Cart Recovery.
- Set Send reminder after (minutes) — how long to wait before reminding the customer.
- Set Max reminders per day.
- Optionally turn on Enable Offer Discount and enter an Offer Percentage (%), such as 10, to tempt them back.
Look and feel. Set the Store Logo URL, Store Description, and the Primary Color and Secondary Color.Domain Setup. Choose where your store lives:
- Enter a Storefront URL — your default address, such as
yoursite.com/store/store-name — and click Save URL.
- To use your own domain, enter it under Custom Domain (Optional) — for example
mystore.com — and click Add Domain. Custom domains are available on higher plans; otherwise you’ll see Upgrade Plan.
- Add the DNS records shown (Type, Name, and Value — use Copy) at your domain provider.
- Wait a few minutes for DNS to update, then click Verify. The domain shows Verified when it works. A verification checklist tells you exactly what to fix if something is missing.

Choose the Product Type — Digital or Physical — which affects the payment methods available. Under Storefront Payment Gateway, turn on and configure:
- Razorpay — API Key, Secret Key, and Merchant ID
- Stripe — Publishable Key, Secret Key, and Merchant ID
- Cash on Delivery (COD) — lets customers pay when the order arrives
[SCREENSHOT: catalog-settings-payment-gateway — The Storefront Payment Gateway section with Razorpay, Stripe, and COD options] Choose how customers pay when they order through WhatsApp:
- WhatsApp Pay — pay inside WhatsApp. Choose a Gateway Type (UPI, Razorpay, PayU, Billdesk, or Zaakpay) and a Configuration Name. Optionally turn on Enable Expiration and set Expires After (minutes) — an unpaid order is canceled automatically after that time.
- Store Checkout Link — the platform sends a checkout link over WhatsApp, and the customer finishes on your storefront.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) — the customer pays on delivery.
- WooCommerce Checkout Link — send customers to your WooCommerce store. Enter your Website URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret, and use Download Plugin to install the WooCommerce plugin to sync orders and inventory.
These checkout methods are mutually exclusive in most combinations — enabling one turns off the others. Shopify Checkout Link is listed as Coming Soon and isn’t available yet.[SCREENSHOT: catalog-settings-whatsapp-payment — The WhatsApp Payment tab showing WhatsApp Pay, Store Checkout Link, COD, and WooCommerce options] Customize the messages customers receive as they order. Click Edit on any message — changes are saved automatically in the editor.Order flow, in the order customers see it:
- Order Confirmation — the first message, sent after a customer places an order.
- Shipping address method — the customer chooses to Share Location (you request their GPS location) or Share Address (you request a manual address).
- Payment options — the message shown depends on your checkout methods:
- Checkout link message (for WhatsApp Pay, COD, Store Checkout, or WooCommerce)
- WhatsApp Pay message — secure payment inside WhatsApp, which can be combined with COD
- COD confirmation — sent when the customer picks Cash on Delivery
[SCREENSHOT: catalog-settings-messages — The Messages tab listing the editable order message templates] Send order events to your own systems automatically.
- Order Received — fires immediately when a new order arrives. Enter a Webhook URL, for example
https://your-domain.com/webhooks/order-received.
- Order Update — fires immediately when an order is updated. Enter a Webhook URL, for example
https://your-domain.com/webhooks/order-update.
Both must be valid HTTPS URLs. Edit the content of your store’s pages — a Page Title and Page Content for each: About Us, Contact Us, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Refund Policy.[SCREENSHOT: catalog-settings-pages — The Pages tab showing the About Page editor]
Troubleshooting / Technical Notes
- “Please enter a storefront URL first.” Fill in the Storefront URL before clicking Save URL.
- “DNS Records Required.” The domain was created. Add the DNS records shown, then click Verify.
- “Verification Failed” or “Still Pending.” DNS can take a few minutes to update. Check that the records match exactly, wait, and verify again.
- “Custom domains are available on higher plans.” Use the default storefront URL, or upgrade your plan.
- Changing one checkout method turned another off. WhatsApp Pay, Store Checkout, COD, and WooCommerce are mostly mutually exclusive. Turn on only the ones you want to combine.
- “Failed to update settings.” Try again. If it keeps failing, reload the page and check that a channel is selected.
