What is this?
Settings (/settings, at the bottom of the Workspace sidebar — not to be confused with Platform Settings) is where you configure the AI model your channel uses, automatic chat-inactivity behavior, and importing data from another platform. It has three tabs: AI Setting, Chat Automation, and Migration.
[SCREENSHOT: settings-overview — The Settings page with the AI Setting, Chat Automation, and Migration tabs visible]
What can I do here?
- AI Setting: view, add, edit, activate, or delete AI model configurations (provider, model, API key, temperature, max tokens) for the active channel, for both text and voice.
- Chat Automation: turn on automatic unassignment of inactive conversations and automatic resuming of paused automations, each with its own inactivity timer.
- Migration: import contacts, WhatsApp numbers, labels, custom fields, and team members from another supported platform into this workspace.
How to use it
Open Settings in the sidebar and choose a tab.

-
You’ll see a table of saved AI configurations for the active channel — Setting Type (Text/Voice), Provider, Model, Temperature, Max Tokens, Status, and last updated date.

-
Click Add AI Setting to create a configuration, or the edit icon on an existing row to change one. Fill in the Setting Type, Provider, API Key, Model, and (for voice) a Speaker, plus Endpoint, Temperature, and Max Tokens as needed.

-
Use the power icon to set a configuration as Active (only one text and one voice configuration can be active at a time), or the trash icon to delete one.
-
Click Refresh to reload the list after making changes elsewhere.
This tab configures two independent timers for the active channel:
- Auto-deassign inactive agent — after a conversation has had no activity for the set number of minutes, the assigned human agent is automatically unassigned so an AI Agent can take over.
- Auto-resume paused automation — after an automation has been paused on a conversation for the set number of minutes, it automatically resumes.

-
Under Import from another platform, choose a migration source from the dropdown. Sources are configured by your platform administrator — if none are listed, ask your admin to set one up.

-
Enter your API key for that source platform.
-
Under What to import, select the data to bring in: WhatsApp Number, Contacts, Contact Enrichment, Labels, Custom Fields, and/or Team Members.
[SCREENSHOT: settings-migration-options — The “What to import” checklist of migration options]
-
Click Start Import. A progress panel shows items processed, succeeded, and failed in real time, with a Cancel option while the import runs.

-
When the import finishes, a completion message confirms how many items were imported. Any errors are listed below the progress bar.
This page only offers the general “Import from another platform” import. Importing a single specific user account isn’t offered here.
Troubleshooting / Technical Notes
- No migration sources are listed. Your platform administrator sets these up. Ask them to configure a source — see Migration.
- I can’t activate a second AI configuration. Only one text and one voice configuration can be active at a time.
- The Chat Automation timers must be between 1 and 10,080 minutes (one week).
