# Threads Insights

> See views, engagement and followers for your Threads profile and your recent posts.

## What is this?

**Threads Insights** shows how your connected Threads profile is doing — daily profile views, engagement totals, your follower count, and metrics for your latest posts.

## What can I do here?

* Pick a period: the last **7**, **28**, **60** or **90** days
* See totals for **Views**, **Likes**, **Replies**, **Reposts**, **Quotes**, **Link clicks** and **Followers** (the current total)
* Switch the daily **Profile views** between a chart and a table with **Show chart** / **Show table**
* Compare your 10 most recent posts in the **Recent posts** table

## How to use it

1. Connect a Threads profile first — see [Threads](https://docs.xpressbot.org/workspace/threads/overview.md).
2. Open the **Threads** group in the sidebar and click **Insights**.
3. Choose the period at the top.
4. Read the tiles for the totals, then the **Profile views** chart or table for the daily trend.
5. Scroll to **Recent posts** to see each post's metrics. Metrics are shown for your 10 most recent posts only.

## Troubleshooting / Technical Notes

* **"No views in this period."** The profile had no views in the chosen range, or Threads has no data yet. Try a longer period.
* **Numbers look a little behind.** Insights are cached for about 10 minutes.
* **Nothing before April 2024.** Threads doesn't report data from before 13 April 2024.
* **The page asks you to connect a profile.** Connect Threads on the [Channels](https://docs.xpressbot.org/workspace/channels.md) page first.
