# Services

> Create the services customers can book — from a ready-made template or from scratch — and publish, pause, or delete them.

## What is this?

A **service** is one thing customers can book: a haircut, a yoga class, a 30-minute consultation. The **Booking Studio** page lists all your services, and you open one to change everything about it.

Open it from **Booking Studio → Bookings** in the sidebar.

## What can I do here?

* Add a service with a short three-step wizard, or from a **ready-made template**
* Search and filter your services by status
* **Publish**, **pause**, edit, or delete a service
* Copy a service's booking link or open its public page
* Set your business hours

## How to use it

### Read the services list

The tiles show **Total services**, **Published**, and **Not published** (drafts and paused). Click a tile, or use the status filter, to narrow the list, and use the search box to find a service by name or group.

The table shows each service's **name** (and its group), **length**, **seats**, the **team** members who take it, its **status**, and when it was last updated. Click a row to open the service.

| **Paused** | Temporarily closed to new bookings |
| **Archived** | Retired |

A row's actions menu lets you **Copy link**, **Open public page**, **Edit**, **Pause**/**Publish**, and **Delete**.

### Add a service

Click **Add service**. If your plan has a limit, you'll see your count, for example *(2/5)*. The button is disabled — with an explanation — when you've reached it.

**1. Pick a starting point**

Choose a **kind of service** (for example *Beauty and wellness* or *Medical and health*), then either pick a **ready-made service** or choose **Start from scratch**. Give it a **name**, an optional **description**, and an optional **link name** — made from the name if you leave it empty.

**2. Set the length, group size, and place**

Enter how long it takes (at least 5 minutes), the **time after** each booking, the **seats per start time**, the **largest group per booking**, the **time zone**, and **how** and **where** it happens. Turn on **I approve each booking before it is confirmed** if you want to review every request.

**3. Choose who takes it and go live**

Select the team members who take this service. Choose **Create service** to save it as a draft, or **Create and publish** to make it live.

>
> To publish, at least one person must be assigned. You can save a draft without anyone and add people later on the service's **Team** tab.

### Use a template

Click **Use a template** to start from a ready-made service. Templates fill in the length, seats, place, buffers, questions, and waiver for you, and you can change everything afterwards. Filter them by kind of business.

| **Medical and health** | General consultation, Dental check-up, Physiotherapy session, Therapy session, Follow-up visit |
| **Public and professional** | Legal consultation, Financial advice, Document appointment, Interview slot |
| **Personal meetings and services** | Consulting call, Coaching session, Counselling session, Home cleaning, Pet grooming |
| **Driving lessons** | Driving lesson, Test preparation, Theory class, Mock driving test |
| **Something else** | 30-minute meeting, 60-minute meeting |

### Publish, pause, or delete

* **Publish** makes the service bookable. **Pause** stops new bookings without deleting anything; existing bookings stay.
* **Delete** removes the service. Deleted services can be recovered from [Trash](/workspace/trash.md) within 7 days.

## Troubleshooting / Technical Notes

* **"You have reached your service limit."** Your plan caps how many services you can have. Delete one you don't need, or open **View Plans**.
* **Add service is disabled.** You may lack the edit permission, or be at your plan's limit. Hover over the button.
* **"Choose at least one person to publish this service, or save it as a draft."** Assign a team member, or save as a draft.
* **"Length must be at least 5 minutes."** Increase the length.
* **I can't find a service I deleted.** Check [Trash](/workspace/trash.md).
