# Platform MCP Tool Catalog

> Every tool the Platform MCP server offers, one page per area.

## What is this?

The 12 tools of the [Platform MCP](https://docs.xpressbot.org/api-reference/mcp/platform/overview.md), one page per area. They are available only to platform owners and superadmins, and every query is limited to **your own platform**. **Read** tools run immediately; **Write** tools ask your MCP client to confirm first. Tools marked **Reaches the customer** email the ticket's creator.

## What can I do here?

* Triage support tickets, reply, assign and update them
* Look up users and see their subscriptions
* Browse the plans and add-ons you sell

> Not offered over Platform MCP, on purpose: deleting tickets, posting as the customer, creating or editing plans, changing a user's subscription, and deleting users. These stay in the dashboard and the [Platform API](https://docs.xpressbot.org/api-reference/introduction.md).

## Troubleshooting / Technical Notes

* **A tool is refused with `403`.** The key owner isn't a platform owner or superadmin, or the key was revoked. See [errors](https://docs.xpressbot.org/api-reference/mcp/errors.md).
* **A tool I expect isn't listed.** Only the 12 tools here exist on the Platform MCP. Workspace tools (inbox, contacts, automations) are on the [Workspace MCP](https://docs.xpressbot.org/api-reference/mcp/workspace/overview.md).
